Blown Glass Experience (Reservations are limited to one participant per time slot.)

Service Description

The blown glass experience at Taisho Glass is a popular hands-on program held at an authentic glass workshop that represents Otaru. You can choose your preferred piece from a variety of shapes such as glasses, vases, and plates, then freely combine your favorite patterns and colors to create a one-of-a-kind glass work. There is no additional charge for production. Please feel free to share your desired design—responding to your requests as much as possible is one of the key features of our workshop. 【Experience Flow】 1. Choose the shape (glass, vase, sake cup, etc.) 2. Choose colors and patterns (wide selection available) 3. Choose the texture (crackle, bubbles, or none) 4. Create the piece with staff support 5. Slowly cool the glass over one full day (we keep it for you) 6. Pick up on a later date or have it shipped to your home (shipping fee applies) *Same-day pickup is not available. 【Required Time】 Approx. 20 minutes per person (2 people = 40 minutes, 3 people = 60 minutes) *Please select time slots according to the number of participants when booking. 【Age Requirement】 Available for children from elementary school grade 1 and above Beginners and children can participate safely. 【Special Experience Menu】 • Pin-blow experience (a special process using water vapor to inflate the glass) • Summer-only: Wind chime making experience (¥5,500) If you wish to join a special menu, please inform us at reception or in the message section when making your reservation.
