Q&A

Q How long does each experience take?

A • Blown glass: 20 minutes (cooling takes 1 day)

 • Tonbodama: 15 minutes (cooling takes 40 minutes)

 • Millefiori & Diamond Dust: 30–90 minutes (shipped later)

 • Other decoration experiences: 30–90 minutes (adhesion time: 30 minutes)

After creating your piece, you can enjoy sightseeing during the cooling or adhesion time. Finished items can be picked up until 7:00 PM. (Closing times may occasionally be earlier. Please check our website or SNS.)

Q Do I need to make a reservation?

A • We recommend making a reservation for blown glass by the day before.

  • Tonbodama is available by same-day, in-store registration only.

  • For other experiences, please use the reservation form on the respective experience pages.

Q Can children participate in the experiences?

Yes. Fire-based experiences such as tonbodama and blown glass are available from elementary school first grade. Non-fire experiences are safe even for younger children.

Q Can I join an experience during sightseeing?

A Yes. If there is availability on the day, we can accommodate you. Please speak with our staff directly or contact us by phone or email.

Q I’m worried the finished glass might break during transport.

A We protect your item with cushioning materials and place it in a box before handing it to you. It will not break under normal conditions, but if you are flying, please carry it as hand luggage. Placing it in checked luggage may increase the risk of damage.

By blowing air into a stainless steel rod wrapped with molten glass, you shape the glass into its final form.
